Among the best links golf has to offer
The Island Golf Club is many people’s favourite links on the East Coast — which is high praise indeed considering its neighbours. But we agree, it is stunning! The club has hosted multiple (British) Open Championship qualifiers and Irish Amateur championships. The only reason it has not hosted an Irish Open is due to the logistical challenge of access, but it did co-host the Amateur Championship with Portmarnock in 2019.
