The Castle Course

Opened in 2008, the Castle Course is the newest addition to St. Andrews Links. Perched on cliffs overlooking St. Andrews Bay, it offers dramatic views and a challenging layout. Designed by David McLay Kidd, the course features undulating greens and rugged bunkering, providing a modern links experience. Its signature hole, the par-3 17th, requires a tee shot over a rocky shoreline to a perched green.

Making itself at home

One of seven courses in the St. Andrews Links family, The Castle Course opened in 2008. Your day on the course will feature incredible scenery, fit for a queen or king. It’ll also give you exposure to the other six courses, where you can potentially sneak in an extra 18.
